The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currently seeking a full-time Vice President for Student Affairs. As the Chief Student Affairs Officer of the College, the Vice President for Student Affairs provides collaborative leadership for matters related to the support of students outside of the classroom. The Vice President for Student Affairs serves as a member of the President’s Cabinet senior leadership team and recommends goals, policies, and strategies to help insure the optimum accomplishment of the College’s comprehensive mission. The Vice President for Student Affairs is responsible for developing an inclusive, strengths-based work environment in which staff are able to do their best work and thrive in their collaborative efforts to support student success. The Vice President for Student Affairs nurtures the development of leaders at all levels and engages others in the development of strategies, objectives, and actions that maximize financial, human, and physical resources in the implementation and evaluation of student support and development programs. The Vice President for Student Affairs works with the direction of the President with line authority over Rome Campus, Outreach, Student Enrollment and Support, Student and Residence Life, the MVCC Dormitory Corporation, and provides organizational leadership as the Title IX Coordinator.
